The Brief
IIH came to Balance for internet strategy, design, development, search engine registration and HTML training for the web team. IIH's objectives were for effective www searchability, bright, clean and minimalist design while ensuring fast download times. Importantly, the site needed the ability to cover most browsers, allowing slower access speeds for different countries.

Our Solution
Numerous research documents are accessible through the site, making it a powerful tool for researchers, health professionals, university students and potential employees all around the world. The site is extremely user friendly, with many navigational features such as quick find, a sophisticated search facility, site map and a text only version for their broad international target market. The text version also serves to satisfy any accessibility issues that sight-impaired users may have.

The final product is a success with all key stakeholders at IIH happy, tight deadlines being met and overwhelming praise from users. Plans are currently being made to redesign the site and build content management tools that will give staff total control over content and structure and cut the cost if maintaining the site to almost nothing.
