The Brief
Take Sydney's leading music/what's on street magazine and give it a suitable home on the web. Don't replace the magazine, just increase the public's awareness of it

Our Solution
We created a series of templates that let Drum Media staff drop a number of image and pdf files into as each weeks printed version is finished and then "publish" this cyber version at the same time that the real magazine is being printed. Thus both go live at the same time. The web site serves both as a teaser for the magazine and more importantly, as a reminder to its readership that a new edition is available. As soon as the new cover hits the website, everyone is knows that the new edition is in the shops. Drum Media now has a wider reach for their advertisers than they had before for a minimal investment and a efficient mechanism to contact and converse witgh their audience when they choose to.
