previous designs www.lawsonmenzies.com.au The Brief In 1997 Lawsons came to Balance and asked us to build and maintain a web site for them. The site needed to change quite frequently but could not have the benefit of a staff member to look after it. Subsequently, after a takeover and a name change to Lawson-Menzies we were asked to redesignthe site and make it easy for them to edit aprts of the site themselves. Our Solution Firstly, Balance built a deceptively simple site that integrated with an existing online auction system and was easily updated by a Balance staff member whenever any changes were requested. This was usually a small weekly change to the featured sales, as well as the occassional major update. This year we completly redesigned the site and launched the new design only to learn that the company had merged and that we needed to instantly rethink the redesign to cope with a new masthead. We got the "new new" site live the same day. Now we have again redesigned the site to represent the new, modern Lawson-Menzies and provide a simple software solution that allows staff members to edit the content of pages themselves.
